Primeval

There is something so very prehistoric about the Dalmatian Pelican. The feathers around the head, the eyes and the amazing beak textures. They all combine to make for one of the most enjoyable bird species for portraits. The aim here was to capture that prehistoric feel, with black and white suiting that tone perfectly.
