Forest King

A chimpanzee traversing the vibrant green of the dense Kibale forest of Uganda. He had been facing away, but rather than move around the other side for a head on view, Richard opted to stand his ground. It was the right move, as eventually he up and turned, walking within inches of Richard as he passed. This photo was highly commended and displayed in Spain's most prestigious wildlife competition, MontPhoto.
